hohoho happy chinese new year!

annual relatives' visitings have ended with big winnings for me yesterday and today! woohoo. i won big money at the mahjong table yesterday and lost and won quite alot today. learnt new fast-money games today. and i realised poker is indeed fun!

okay anyway cny eve was different this year with dasao and dayi sanyi joining us this year, cos yah unhappy stuff. but it was still pleasant. they popped the vodka + cognac which i've been eyeing on in the fridge during dinner! 20%! YUM.

okay, but it's been a scratchy new year for me till now. :(



people are like eggs. raw, half-boiled and hard-boiled. strangers on the streets are like raw eggs, you hit them and they crack; everyday friends are like the half-boiled, you play and fight; while the hard-boiled are those you dont have to meet often yet you know the bond is strong there. getting to know a person is just like peeling an egg. if you're too rough, you make holes on the smooth and white exterior. it's not easy to peel one nicely. well, everyone has their own flaws and nobody is perfect but still, we just accept them the way they are.
